Fancy Dress
Fancy Dress, the new Guinness Pakru movie directed by Ranjith Skaria is one good example of terrible writing. The predictability of this movie is very high and there is absolutely zero importance for freshness. The only thing that is good about this film, in my opinion, is its duration of 124 minutes. The movie ended exactly at that point when you will feel that you can’t take it anymore.
Margamkali
If you are someone who has felt that the last movie of director Sreejith Vijayan, Kuttanadan Marppappa and the last hero outing of Bibin George, Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha are enjoyable films, then the new movie Margamkali that marks the first collaboration of these two might work for you as a passable entertainer. I personally am not a fan of the movies mentioned in the beginning and apart from a couple of humorous scenes Margamkali for me was a charmless effort at creating a love story. When Siddique cracked a Kaviyoor Ponnamma related joke towards the end, I really laughed thinking how good it would have been if the whole movie had that kind of sense of humor.
Judgemental Hai Kya
The basic idea of the new Kangana Ranaut starrer Judgemental Hai Kya comes from a point of perspective. Our interpretation of normal and abnormal depends way too much on being a regular person. And among the not so regular ones, we tend to call some mental, simply because they weren’t afraid to be themselves in the public eye. Kanika Dhillon is somewhat juggling with this idea in her new script Judgemental Hai Kya (previously titled Mental Hai Kya) and the end result is an interesting one.
