Avengers

“Avengers” is simply a thrilling entertainer with the cliche super hero theme of Saving the world. What makes it a really good entertainer is the treatment which manages to contain all its leading protagonists with equal importance. The makers can take a great of amount of credit for making this movie an awesome thrilling visual treat.

The story is basically about saving the world from dark forces. The story begins as the Norse God Loki comes to earth in search of of massive energy source called the Tessaract. Tessaract is like a door way between the two worlds. Loki gets the offer to rule earth from other Galaxy powers, if he shares the Tessaract  with them. The SHIELD head Nick Fury begins the Avengers Initiative to get the Tessaract back from Loki. Nick Fury manages to get all his Avengers in time. But as the scale of the attack was huge the Avengers falls at first. But later they even uses their limitations and weakness to get the earth back in shape.

As I said earlier, none of the characters have been wasted or made useless. Everyone has their share in the story line. There were some really cool and funny sequences towards the end. The scene where Loki is smashed by Hulk before he could complete his dialog, the scene were police officer asks Captain America “Why Should I take orders from you?” and he replies with his power, Hulk waking up Iron man after the climax fight etc were really funny and cool. There was on e excellent piece of visual effects work were all the super heroes were shown in one single shot lasting nearly one minute. That scene was cool. There were some cool dialogs too. Like the one Hulk says, “I am always angry”.

Every superhero has been kept in their default attitude. Captain America always leads and cares about citizens, Iron Man is a show man and hulk still finds it difficult to control the anger.
Performance of everyone was really good. No one really disappointed. Really liked the performance of Robert Downey, Jr., Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk).
On the technical side impressive direction a slightly dragging first half script, superb cinematography, spot on editing and awesome piece of visual effects. 3D has been used very effectively.

Overall Avengers gets a thumbs up 4 out of 5 from Lensmen. Its a delight full action packed entertainer with guaranteed fun. Don’t miss this cool package.
