KARAYILEKKU ORU KADAL DHOORAM

Saw “Karayileku Oru Kadal Dhooram” yesterday. Its not at all commercial. To enjoy this movie you should really have the mind set of a laureate or at least should try to imagine yourself as the lead of the movie, portrayed well by Indrajith. The film revolves around the inner conflicts of a young novelist.

For me the film is good as far as direction is concerned and ya, the theme is also a fresh one. The film lacks the smoothness because of some average performances by the female leads. The actress who portrays Indrajith’s wife’s role, makes us feel as if she is doing Monoact in the State Youth Festival, Mamta dubbed in her own voice. The DRAMAtic dialogues of the movie doesnt sound good in her sound. and Dhanya Meri Varghes was looking very awesome both in looks and in acting.. but when it came to dialogue delivery, she also failed.

Indrajith has done a good job. The music of the movie is also amazing. Especially the song “Hridhyathin Madhupathram….” how romantic. Felt like heaven when I heard it in the theater. The locations of some songs were also very catchy.

“Karayileku Oru Kadal Dhooram” is a good movie. But, it will take time for you to digest the concept. It took nearly one day for me ;). Its not a pure entertainer or a a message giving cinema. Its a cinema made for a very small % of audience. Cant blame the director, because nowadays we have lost our standards watching crap commercial movies!!

Final Thoughts

To enjoy this movie you should really have the mind set of a laureate or at least should try to imagine yourself as the lead of the movie.
