STANLEY KA DABBA

Last Night saw the recent Hindi movie Stanley ka Dabba. Must say its a beautiful movie. Sweet, Simple and a touching one. The film is directed by Amol Gupthe, the creative director of Taare Zameen Par and of course the thampuraan of URUMI.

Mr. Gupthe has done a fabulous job in both direction and acting in the movie. Even though the style of the movie is similar to T-Z-P the theme is different. Its about Stanley a fourth standard student and the Bindaz life of his. By “Bindaz”, I mean his attitude. By the end of the movie we will end up admiring his character.

The boy who portrayed Stanley has done a very impressive role. Amole Gupthe as the hungry Khadoos is also very memorable. The direction is smooth, no big bang camera angles. As I said earlier its a very simple movie with a nice intention and big heart!!

Director has captured the emotions of small children very nicely. Through a dabba, they conveyed a great message. Hats off to Stanley and his yummy Dubba. I dnt want to reveal much about the story line. All I can say is that its really worth a watch!!

Dont miss it 4/5 and a warm hug to Amol Gupthe!! 🙂

Final Thoughts

It is a beautiful movie. Sweet, Simple and a touching one.
